Barbara - I am a new member of this website. I am totally addicted to it already. I just read your story. You are such an inspiration to all of us. You never gave up on your dream. You didn't even let a stroke stop you. I pray that you had your surgery today and that you are fine. May God continue to bless you and watch over you. Drop me a note when you can.

Hi Barbara, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck I was. Of course it was for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery went just fine. I had soreness afterwards and frankly, my back hurt worse than my incision. For me, the week before surgery was worse than the week after. Remember to keep it positive. That includes keeping only positive people around because before surgery we are so sensitive to every comment people make. It will be just fine. I hope all your health and weight loss dreams come true,
