6 months out
Jun 25, 2007
Since I haven't updated since 4 days after surgery, thought I'd better get started. Not much to say but "I'm feeling great!" I've lost 65 lbs in 6 months and am so glad I had this surgery. I am a school teacher and am off for the summer. I know that I've already gotten more done in June than I did all of last summer. I'm constantly on the go and have plenty of energy. I'll never run out of things to do around here either! Happy summer everyone!
4 Days Post-Op
Dec 24, 2006
I returned to my home yesterday. Slept comfortably all night. Went to town today to do some last minute Christmas shopping. Returned home for the first unclear liquid I've had in 6 days. The 4 oz of tomato soup was simply awesome! I walked a mile and now plan to take a quick nap before wrapping the last of the presents. Things are obviously going SMOOTHLY. Anxious for what comes next!
4 Days to Go!
Dec 17, 2006
Just 4 days to go! Let's get this started! I've got a list to complete today. Got the gifts wrapped and ready to go yesterday. Toady is vacuum, dust, pack a bag, get xmas cards done, walk the dogs (done), take the horse out for a walk, and get online (done). The next few days will fly by. Teaching through Wednesday, then at the surgery center at 6 am Thursday. I feel like I've got everything ready to go. Hope things go as smoothly post-op.
Cleaning House
Nov 09, 2006
I have started cleaning house in anticipation of the changes to be made here.
The clothes I have saved over the past 7 years have been organized so I can move right on down through the sizes. I can tell I sure enjoyed shopping for clothes a lot more when I was a size 18. I'm getting anxious to finally have some selection in my wardrobe again.
The kitchen cupboards need to get cleared as well. Good bye big glasses and large plates! I also plan to pack up most of what remains in the cupboard and take it to the local food pantry.....just in time for the holidays.
