I am having Laparoscopic RNY. I went to my class yesterday, had all my workups. Everything came out fine and Dr Graham is moving forward. Another patient of his was also there yesterday he is scheduled for surgery tomorrow then me friday. If i hadnt been given a date a month ago for surgery i would have had to wait until December too. Luckily my insurance company is easy to deal with. The eating afterwards is going to be the tricky part, eating just a little measuring cup ( the measuring cup off a cough medicine bottle ) of food. I know at first its not going to be a big deal.. I wish i was months out and on the road to being better. Time flies before you know it you will be on deck to have yours and be just as nervous as i am! its a very long roller coaster just before surgery. i go from knowing its the right thing, to questioning if im doing the right thing. i start my clear liquids diet in the morning preparing for surgery day. here's to the best!
