I just wanted to write a quick blurb about my adventure last night. I won tickets off the radio station to go see Bret Michaels. I had to sing the chorus to “Nothing but a good time” with 5 other contestants. Radio listeners called in and voted and I won!! I got 2^nd row seats to his concert plus I got to go on stage with him during his encore and sing that song with him. To top it off, I got to go back stage and meet him. He is just as cute in person as he is on TV. Plus, he is a big sweetheart. I got my picture with him, a couple of autographs and I couldn’t get away without asking for a hug, which he gave me.    It was one of the best nights of my life. I have admired him since the 80’s and now I want to see his next concert out here, which will be in September. His bodyguard got the phone numbers and email address of all who were there so he can let us know about the next time he will be here. I guess I am going to have to try and win tickets again.   Check out my picture section because I added the one of him and me. He is so hot!!

It has been so long since I have updated myself.  I had a bad complication due to stress and my surgery.  I got an ulcer on my staple line that erupted in late May.  I woke up one morning with a bad pain in my stomach that radiated into my shoulder and neck.  I thought I was dehydrated so I went to the kitchen and drank a little water.  I almost passed out from the pain at that moment.  I had a friend staying with me and yelled for her and told her she needed to take me to the ER now.  When I got there, they gave me some pain meds and took me to have x-rays and a CAT scan.  It showed the erupted ulcer and it was spilling out stomach acid.  That is what was hurting so bad.  They told me that I needed to have emergency surgery now.  I ended up with a large open incision from below my breast to below my belly button.  It took me forever to get back to normal.  I went several weeks with stomach problems but I discovered it was because I was not taking my ulcer meds that the doctor perscribed to me.  I lost a lot of weight because of it.  I am finally doing better.  On the up side, my tool still works and I am now at the lowest weight I have been in 20 years.  In 20 more pounds, I will be half the person I was when I started this journey.  That is exciting to me!!!

I have so many updates.  I am moving to Victorville around the 21st of April.  I got a house at a really good price.  I am starting a new job working for the man that I am seeing.  He is a good man and is good for me.  I can't wait to see where things go with us but I have a very good feeling about him.  After not losing any weight in 2 years but actually gaining some, I have now lost another 30 pounds.  some of those were from the gain but the rest are new.  Yahoo!!!!  I hope the scales stays in the downward direction. 

The house I was waiting for has feel through.  I am back to house hunting.  It really sucks.  My boss and a lot of my co-workers are looking too.  I am going to try and buy a mobile possibly.  I don't know if it will work out but maybe.

This whole new site is kind of cool.  I like that I can change it by myself and not have to wait for someone to do it for me.

It is a beautiful rainy day today.  I really didn't do anything but watch movies and cook a big pot of pinto beans with ham.  I love soup weather.  I do get colder easier but I would rather bundle up than try and cool off.

I am still waiting for my new house to open up.  I hate living in someone elses home.  Even though no one else is here but me and my kids, it is still not my house and not my things.  I can't wait to get into my new house.  It is hard to leave Beaumont after living there for 15 years but a change of scenery will be good.  I will be closer to the OH happenings too.  San Bernardino hopefully won't be so bad.
