Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 87 pounds!!! Good luck!

Hi Sharon, I'd say don't be nervous, but heck, I was! Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few more calories) because my surgery was fine. I always say the week before surgery was harder than the week after, at least it was for me. Keep it positive and that means having only positive people around you. Best wishes and I hope all your weight-loss dreams come true.

Your journey is almost here! I'm sure you are excited and scared all at the same time. It's okay though. It was the best thing I could have done for myself and my family and I am sure you will find the same thing as well. I pray for a speedy and easy recovery for you. Keep us posted when you reach the "other" side. Good luck and God Bless!!!
