Growing up I ws never small. But my weight problem really seemed to escalate in high school during a depression I was going through.
Then I had my two kids..Guess it was all down hill (for my weight) from there. LOL. 
I live in the San Jose, California with my Husband and two kids. I am a SAHM and hoping that having my surgery will give me more energy to keep up!! lol . I thought about Gastric bypass surgery before , but that was before I had my kids and I was too scared. Now I realize I NEED this tool to be healthy so I started researching it. Found a doctor that would give me a referel and then saw my surgeon.
I had to do the typical 6 month diet and psych eval,meeting with NUT, etc.
I have done all of it and now have my date! My surgery date is scheduled for January 9th, 2008!!!!!!
I will meet all of you on the loosers bench soon and can't wait.
