I'm at 224 lbs. only 3 pounds away from my goal weight. Total weight loss 197 pounds. I'm almost over weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just returned from my nine month visit with my Surgeon. I have lost 187 pounds and my B.M.I. is down to 32. Fifteen more pounds and I will be Overweight. My starting B.M.I. was over 60.

 I weighed today for my pre ThanksGiving weigh in. I was happy to see that I have lost a total of 156 pounds in 7 months. My B.M.I. is down to 36 from 60. Weight loss has been steady and energy level better than ever. I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I have alot to be thankful for.

 I weighed Friday as I usually do since my surgery I've lost 135 pounds. I've got 10 days till my 6 months out date. Things are going great.

  I haven’t posted lately I just wanted to keep everybody updated on my weight loss journey. The BMI calculator now tells me I’m obese. My BMI is 39.7 down from

59.9. It’s a good feeling to be just obese maybe someday soon I will be overweight.

 I know I’ve been away for a while. Life has been very hectic here of late. My Dad had been in 2 different hospitals and a nursing home since May 17^th. Today we laid him to rest. He passed away this Tuesday. He fought a gallant fight but in the end he was ready to pass on to the next life. I am very thankful to the folks at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas who helped make his last days as peaceful as possible. My Dad always asked how much weight I had lost; I made my –100 pound mark last Thursday when I was able to tell him I had lost102 pounds. I am thankful my Dad was able to see me healthier and happier.

 The days to come will be hard. I would like to request Prayers for my family especially my Dear Mother. Mom was by his side the entire 3 months they celebrated their 48^th wedding anniversary in the hospital.

Hi Everybody,
  I have been out of the loop for quite some time. Life has been very hectic this past month. My Dads been in the Hospital for the last six weeks. My weight loss has progressed very well. I have lost a total of 75 pounds since April 23rd. I have been limited in my exercise due to my left knee has gotten worse. I have a scheduled M.R.I. for Monday I suspect I will need surgery. Thats not a big deal really I had the other knee done last February and It's doing just fine now.  Surgery couldn't hurt worse than my knee does now. I haven't had any problems getting my protein (tuna, chicken, and fish). I have to push to get my fluids but I get them in.   Thats about it............. for now.......

Yesterday was my one month surgiversery  I weighed today . I have lost 48 pounds in the last month. I have also lost 73 pounds since March 6th.
Weight is fallen off like water off a ducks back.

Hi Everybody,

 I would like to update everyone. I had my surgery on April 23rd. I came home on April 26th. I had the normal aches and pains all of you have experienced. Everything was going as to be expected till May 1st, I had a bad night, pain in my neck, and chest, cold sweats.  called the Dr. first thing the next morning he wanted me in for tests. I had all the tests ran all was fine. I guess better safe than sorry, we will see if the insurance will cover that. I saw the Dr. on the 3rd for my regular 10 day follow up we decided it may have been trapped gas or I may have drank too much. or too cold. Since then I have been staying away from cold stuff for awhile. I haven't had any more problems. I forgot about my weigh in at the Drs. visit I had lost 24 pounds since April 23rd and 49 pounds Since March 15th. I have been more active since seeing the Dr. I've been to the Y every day not for long but a little longer every day. We the whole family enjoy the chance to get out. I have to go back to work Monday May 7th. If I don't work I only get 55% of my pay and I have to send them a check for my benefits. So really don't have a choice. I would just like to thank everyone for your Prayers and Well Wishes during the past few weeks. You have all been so Kind.

I arrived home yesterday, I t was a rough day adjusting to oral pain management. I just barely got in my fluids and protein. Sleeping last night was miseary  could not get comfortable had a hard time getting in and out of bed. I came up with a solution for the bed though. I used Emili's (Youngest Daughter) it's a full sized bed on the bottom with a twin size for a top bunk. Easy to get in and out of used the rails twin to help me get in and out. Lots of nice storage for mp3 player, phone, .....
Thanks to Emili and Faith for sending there good luck charms with me to the Hospital ( Emili's stuffed catfish and Faith's hand crafted heart.
I've got a question ??? How long Does gas Lasttttttttttttttttttttt????????
