Tomorrow is my 2 year anniversary - can't believe it!! It's been such a great journey and I'm so thrilled with how well it's gone. I haven't done everything perfectly, but I feel like my pouch reminds me when I haven't made the best choice (too much food, sugar, etc) and it gets me back on track. It's doing just what I need it to do!! I've gotten off exercising lately, but had a great, full summer & fall filled with running and hiking - amazing!

Yes, I should put more in this profile. But thought I'd start with the best part. Yesterday I received the approval letter for insurance! Today when I called the dr's office and said "what now?" she said "I've penciled you in for December 6th". I said "for what?" and she said "for your surgery!!". So - it's official - I have my surgery date!

It's about my 3- month anniversary and I'm feeling great. I've gotten into a good eating pattern and I'm doing more and more activity. I'm averaging 12 lbs lost a month!!
