I am 45 years old and I have had a weight problem all my life. I have lost and gained over 150lbs throughout my life.
I had a stroke back in April 2004, which was a wake up call for me. I joined Dr. Berstein and lost 90lbs and was very proud of myself. At that point I had missed a few of the weekly appointments and they kicked me out. I was devistated, I had done so well. That was back in March 2005 since then I have gone through hell, my husband lost his job my 9 year old daughter started having major anxiety attacks and has not gone to school. Oh yeah did I mention that we are suing my husbands company for wrongful dismissal. With all this going on I managed to re-gain the 90 lbs.
I have had enough, my girlfriend Laurie had the Duodenal Switch and has lost over 100lbs, so I decided that I would try as well.
