Ok so I am now 9 months post op. I just wanted to write down some of my "wow" moments so I never forget them!

Sitting comfortably in a seat with arms
Seeing myself on a video from behind and not realizing this was me!!! 
doing a double take at myself in a mirror.
Walking....
running.....
Climbing stairs by choice - instead of the elevator.
crossing my legs! I love this one
My son asked my husband if I was done losing weight because "Mom is skinny enough now!" WHAT?????
Going from a size 24/26 to 14...........
Sitting comfortably and riding every roller coaster!

I still have a ways to go and will add to these, but this has been one hell of a ride so far. Not one regret!

As of today I am down 100 pounds! This is awesome. What an achievement. In my head I am still the same person and the same weight I was 8 months ago. It is hard for me to comprehend the changes. Anyway I will continue to work hard for the continued losses and sucess.

So...here I am almost 8 weeks post Lap RNY surgery. and down 39 lbs. from day of surgery. I never got to tell my story but it is similar to many I have read. I have been overweight all my life. I was a pudgy child and never really outgrew it. My lowest weight my adult life was right before I got married. I think I was about 150lbs and a size 10 (my going away outfit) I think that was my only size 10. That didn't last long at all. Upon returning from my honeymoon I found out I was pregnant and from there I went up. Three children later and many, many diets I was at my highest ever on the day of surgery. I started this with many mixed emotions. Would it work for me? Would I be able to take the restrictions? What will my family think? the list goes on.....but know 8 weeks later.....I am getting useed to the diet, reading labels, counting sugar and fat, trying recipies and reading all the post here on OH. I am going to make weekly blog's on here mostly so I can remember my progress and weight goals.
