It's been a while since I've posted anything - life, updates, status - but I'm great! In the previous post I tried my best to stay positive and think of losing my then job as a blessing. You know what?!? It was...It is!!!! The good news....I received and accepted a job offer with an INCREDIBLE company (who's name is being withheld) on Monday, 4/20/09. The greater news....this INCREDIBLE company covers WLS at 100%.  Ya'll know I almost blacked out, right!

I've wanted this surgery for going on 4 or so years. I can see clearly now, it's finally in my reach. I feel blessed. HOWEVER, I have a problem. Now that I can finally have the surgery, my mind is saying, OMG...I'm scared! I know it's probably a normal reaction but after all these years, fear is coming upon me. But in this situation as in all others, I won't quit...I'll keep pressing...I'll keep going...I'm going to prevail...I shall WIN!!!

I want to thank everyone for the kind and encouraging words. Most of all I want to thank "The Juice" for EVERYTHING! You are truly an angel. So in the words of JIGGA....

LET'S GET 'EM!!!!
