It appears that the only listed group for the LA area is inactive, so I thought to start this one. If I'm stepping on anyone's toes, please forgive me, but at least I don't weight anywhere near as much as I used to, so it shouldn't be too painful.

I'm in the downtown Los Angeles area nearly every weekday, so my availability is pretty open. I usually hang out at a Starbucks, as they have internet available, and I've bought so much coffee and tea from them over the years that my refills are now free.

I'm 18 months out and I've gone (so far) from 300 pounds to today's weight of 163 pounds after having RnY done by Dr. Gevorg Mutafyan at Glendale Adventist. It all went very well and I haven't had any complications.

I know how difficult this journey can be, and while having online support is a wonderful thing, sometimes, it's even better to have someone you can look in the eye when you're looking for that support.

I look forward to getting to know more folks who have taken this journey along with me.
