Trying something new today...

So I haven't been sleeping very good lately and I always seem to have WAY bad acid reflux at most times of the day. I did some research last night about acidity vs alkalinity. I decided to try to do some of the things it said today such as reducing my risk of acidic foods.

Also I read that to help reduce acid reflux try to walk after each meal to help the food go down. So today after I eat something, i will walk at least 10 minutes to help the food go down. The article i read also said to sleep on you left side rather than your right side, something about your stomach. I tried it last night sleeping on my left side and I slept all night so that must be working.

So for today this is my plan:
-  eat foods that are high alkaline to very low acidic
-  drink my water
-  walk at least 10 minutes after each meal
- stop eating at least 2 hours before bed (I usually do this one anyways)

Big ball of emotion...

So after my unfill yesterday I feel like I have let a lot of people down. Let me first say that I feel SOOO much better after getting the unfill and i know that is all that should matter. However I feel like i let my mom down. I called her today to tell her about my problem yesterday and the unfill. She told me "maybe this isn't for u"...now I am not sure which way to take that, is she giving up on me already? then my husband said "maybe you just should have exercised and ate less instead of surgery" UHH duh that didn't work the last 22 years I've been fat lol. Without the band i wouldnt have lost the 40 something i have so far. Personally I don't feel like i failed but other people seem to be losing faith in me. I know I needed the unfill i was only eating about 300 cals a day and probably throwing up half if not more of that a day. Anyways I think this is something I gotta do for me, I can't let other people make me feel bad!

Awesome Weekend

My hubby and I decided to get out of town this weekend. Too many things stressing us out so in a matter of about 10 minutes Friday night we decided to leave for the weekend. We headed south to Los Angeles, only about an hour and a half away. I was a little worried because I am a planner to the maximum, yet i was leaving not having anything ready. Luckily it turned out amazing. Only problem was we didn't get much sleep, i think our neighbors were on their Honeymoon and they weren't wasting any time We got there a little late so we stayed at the hotel and just had dinner. But on Saturday the real fun started. In the morning we headed over to Petersen's Automotive Museum. Both my hubby and I are obsessed with cars so it was the perfect place. They had the new sports car section for me lol and the old muscle cars for my hubby. We spent a good 3 hours there just walking around and taking pictures. The new digital camera from Christmas really came in handy. After the museum we were going to head over to Santa Barbara for lunch but on the way to the freeway we saw a beautiful park. We found out it was MacArthur Park, i had always associated this park as "bad" because that is how it was always portrayed in music, movies, tv. However, this park was amazing anyone in the area should definately go. We spent an hour walking around the park and up and down the nearby streets. We would have stayed longer but we ran out of change for the meter lol. The sun was shining the whole time and it was just so relaxing and amazing i didn't want to leave.

Insecurities..

Ahh I am messing things up again. I have BIIIIG jealousy issues probably because I have been alone most of my life. I always wanted what other people had. I have been married for 2 yrs and the same jealousy issues and hurting my marriage. Does jealousy ever go away? WIll it be better when I am skinny and not comparing myself to others or does that never go away? I am sitting here crying because my husband won't talk to me and i just want everythign to be better. I know it is my fault that it is not ok but still i can't help it. I feel miserable and sick and just like so not in the christmas spirit.

My nerves are getting to me

I don't feel good. Today is the day when i go for my first fill. Hopefully this time goes better than last time. I'm really nervous and barely slept last night. I feel like throwing up because i'm so worried. Wish me luck that I dont pass out this time and that it is easy to find and reach

What we do for money...

So my dad is a math teacher and both him and I are obsessed with numbers. He made me a little bet. He will give me $100 if i can write the numbers from 1 to 1,000,000. Sounds easy enough but it will take a really long time.Because as the numbers increase the length of time it takes to write them increases as well.  I only have 8 days to finish it. He typed it all up on his computer using microsoft excel and it ended up going all the way to page 2703. I am so bored and I need something to occupy my hands besides food. So I am accepting the challange and even if I dont make it to a million, at least i will have spent my time not eating. Wish me luck haha
