I'm 44 & have struggles with yo-yo on the scales. I've put on alot of weight over the last 2yrs & had been researching wls. Someone close to me gave me hope for a better way of life. So I talked to our local Bariatric center & was scheduled for a consult with a surgeon. He feels this would give me a better life... I'm thrilled someone has compassion instead of "your fat & lazy." I'm a very busy, hard working women & can't imagine if I didn't move around & work, I'd look like a house. I went for some tests & 3 other doctors believe this would be a great tool for me to keep myself under control.
I have a daughter 20 who plays b-ball & soccer, works PT & is in college FT. A son-18 who plays f-ball, b-ball & races 600 Micro-sprints, works PT & is in college FT. I have a
great husband who I love very much, he has been VERY supportive of my weight gain & loves me for who I am, a 6 or 22. He's very supportive of the WLS as well. I think he is a little uncertain but knows this will help me with my sleep disorders, back pain, feet pain, high bld pressure & cholesteral. I have my sisters & a few good friends who are being very supportive as well.
