Time has really gone by, I'm very disappointed in myself & weight loss,72 lbs then i gained back 3 lbs so its 69lbs, I think I should have lost more.  I've been eatting more-under a lot of perosnal problems w/ my family & can't seem to get away from the food demons & feeling like food will make  me feel bettter.  I need to get back on  track & don't know how unless i don't eat.  I don't regret having the surgery I do regret thinking i needed to eat & I think i forced myself & now concerned about my pouch stretched.  I have a 6 mth apt coming up & see what the doctor has to say.  I feel really great, did have more energy before the problems started & now I'm suffering. 

November 14th is in two days, I'm on a clear liquid diet Wahoo!! oh well I have to stay focused on the end result!! Monday took some dulcalax tabs worked great & didn't have the horrible gas pains like other laxs.  Monday 13th went to hopital for pre-admission test & all went well.
NOVEMBER 14th  I arrived at the hospital @ 9:00 for 10:30 surgery.  I feel ok, not really nervous since I worked in the OR I know what to expect...watched QVC while waiting & ordered some shoes...just what I needed...well the last thing I remember was telling the anesthesiologist that I didn't want to remember anything, feel pain but didn't want a hangover...& he did it!! Surgery went fine I was done lap, had alot of pain when I woke up but perkoset seemed to help.
I didn't sleep thru the night at hospital, but was discharged in the morning but didn't leave till late afternoon....what a ride home thank goodness I took some perkoset before I left.  
When I got home in the pjs, & couch bound & sleep...this is a really strange new change on how to drink & eat...the gurgleing of the pouch oh well its done & now I have to make this work!!

After my last visit the office faxed 29 pages to the insurance co for an approval. They called Monday & was told they neve4r received any of them???? So they refaxed them all 29 pages & where hand delivering to a pre-cert person so it got processed imediately. called Wednesday & they where still 3 days behind, so they called on Friday & they where working on mine but wouldn't call the office either way until Monday & surgery is on Tuesday!! So they did call Friday @12:30 pm with approval!! so Monday I go to hospital for pro-op tests & met the team to review things, they told me since I have attended support meetings & have been very knowledgable about the surgery by questions, getting info ahead of time & seemed to to be ready they would do it, normally they don't. All went well without a hitch. Tomorrow's the day, I can't believe its here!!!

Well after all these months of visits thinking that 6 months would never get here it finally has!... I'm so nervous & excited I'm not sure what to do...I pray that I get approved & it doesn't take long, I'm not good at waiting sometimes...well this is an area to work on...I'm ready to start loosing & make a better life for my self & family!!
