Before this last fill i could basically eat whatever i wanted at meal time. I could also eat larger bites of food and really didnt have to count how many times i chewed etc.... Since my fill I now have to take extremely small bites and chew them 20 to 40 times depending on what it is. Meat of course i have to chew a lot while fruit and pasta's aren't as much. I have PB'd probably 6 times since my last fill....Its been a few days since i have done it now....I think im getting the hang of it now.....I hate being stuck and I really hate the bubbles that come up when i am stuck. I dont know what is worse the pain from being stuck of the PB'ing that goes along with it....
Small bites no bigger than a pea...That's what the nutritionist kept telling me before surgery. After my surgery and a few fills i wondered why. I have no problems with bigger bites if i chew em well enough u know 15 to 20 times....WOW.....NOW I KNOW WHY!
Things i have PB'd on:
White bread (wheat seems to be okay though)
Ham (didnt chew very well cause it slid)
Lettuce (same thing it slid)
That is about it...........so i decided to use wheat bread or wraps. All in all everything is going well though.

WOOHOOOOOOO! 70 pounds gone forever...went to the doctor to get blood drawn and i weighed in at 205. Beings that i have a new family doctor they didn't get to see me before surgey. (my old family doctor went into a different medical field) I showed them a pic from my cell phone they were amazed! I heard...i always wondered about the band...I guess it does work. Im livin proof! Anyways i have been extremely tired and recently have been experinceing a metal taste in my mouth...According to my book the hosp gave me that a good indication of a vitamin problem. So i should have my results back in few days. meanwhile....still taking my vitamins...getting in my protien etc...
Did i mention i think im over the hump of my hair falling out. According to book from my hospital hairloss is possible regardless of protien intake. If its going to happen it usually starts around month 3 and can last up to 9 months post-op. It seems to be getting thicker now...so glad.
BTW i saw some new things the other day in the store....Im gonna try them and then i will post them. Check back to see.

I may not be on for awhile...right now i'm at a friends house using the internet....we were hit by IKE! I finally got my power back after 2 days but they say it could be a week or so for my internet to be repaired. (we were one of the lucky one's some wont get power back for another week or so) I'll try to get on every once in awhile to check things but i dont know how soon every once in awhile will be...lol

Remember when eating some of these foods adjust your cal intake to allow for it !!!!
I ate these on my liquid diet after surgery ... they're great...couldn't have lived without them! 70cal
20 cal a popsicle...has icecream inside yummy
these come in handy durning TOM....80 cals and no sugar added just enough choc. to get u through!
Great for that TOM....just enough to satisfy that choc. craving...100 cals
90 cal snack packs (this is thegeneric brand of oreo thin crisps) another TOM craving satisfier!

These are a wonderful protien bar to have occasionally...if im just not feeling hungry i just replace my meal with these... Think Thin..chunky peanut butter. 20 g protien 0g sugar gluten free 240cal total fat 8g...sat fat 3g..trans fat 0g...cholesterol 5mg...sodium 200mg...
potassium 60mg...total carb 26g.... fiber1g....sugars 0g...sugar alcohol 13g...protien 20g
140 cal...5g protien another one of my meal replacers.
Great snack...in 2min and 20 sec...cant beat that!
each of these is 3.5 oz...one is chicken salad with 5 crackers one is tuna...i eat these as meals with cottage cheese or fruit...they are the perfect size for me protien is good on em and are under 240 cals.
Turkey sausage...basically healthy slim jims..lol...6 per serving = 7g protien...60cal
I dont eat pudding enough to buy the already made packs...these are single servings add milk and its done...100cal. Great TOM craving satisfier!
generic lean pockets...230 cal...great quick lunch or dinner
I get lean gourmet, smart ones, lean cuine, healthy choice...any of those dinners when they are marked down or on sale...great for a quick lunch or dinner!
i didnt think i would like this but they are actually pretty tasty. I like crunchy textures (i'm weird like that) this flavor is vanilla almond. Has great protien and Omega's...Very good for you....give it a try!

These items are not ment to be eaten all the time...these are to be eaten in moderation. Don't forget protien, veg, carb....that order...sometimes you may have cravings...especially during the dredded time of the month or TOM... no matter what you do those cravings wont go away! I use some of the above choices when eleminating those cravings.

Some ppl dont realize how important pictures are in the weight loss process. I encourage everyone to take a picture of yourself at least once a month! I take a picture a week.
Please dont think you have to share them with anyone...You can keep them to yourself. Use your cell phone, a reg camera, dig camera etc...
The reason this is so important is it encourages you. You may not be able to see your progress without these pictures. You may think what are you talking about? Of course i can see my progress! Im here to tell you nope not all the time. Your mind can play tricks on you. Even though you know...well i have lost a pant size...what do you have to compare it to? You can't see yourself in a pair of pants before. And usually a pant size wll just be a bit looser. The difference wll be seen in that picture you took before!
So please take pictures of yourself! You dont have to post em! You can keep them to yourself until that day your like...wow...look what i have done! Look where i came from! And then you may want to share that excitement with the world!
