Hello everyone!

I had 2 milestones today that I would like to share with you and maybe brag a little!

1.  I woke up to a wonderful scale day - I hit my 100 pound loss, what a great feeling!!    Since February 15th, I lost 80 lbs before surgery, and in the last 26 days since surgery, lost 20 more.

2.  Today was the ASMBS "Walk From Obesity" in St. Louis and we had a great time.  3.7 mile walk, which is not a major distance, but the most I have walked in as long as I can remember!  I am proud to say I was in the top fundraisers and we raised almost $10,000 for obesity support and research.  Our "Heart of America Bariatrics" team recruited 50 walkers!!!

 Going well so far, 1/2 way there.  Surgery on Monday 8/24.  Thank God for sugar free popsicles!  

Well, my final MD visit for my 6 month waiting period is next week.  I have been doing pretty well, lost 65 pounds since January, but I still need to exercise more!  My surgeon will submit all my 6 month records to insurance sometime in July, and hopefully I will have my approval back within 30 days.  Let the fun begin!

Soooo many things going through my mind.  Where do I start??

Well, I think it's time for me to get serious, and make the committment to myself to be a better, healthier person.  WHY have I (such a strong person) allowed food to rule my life?  That is the question.

I started Seattle Sutton today, the food is good, and very filling, but I still WANT to eat!!!!  ARGH, The daily battle!  I hope that paying soo much for the food will keep me on track. 

Four more months of doctor visits before my insurance will consider the RNY, that is the easy part, the wait is killing me though.  A watched pot never boils, right????

Hopefully surgery this fall!!!!
