"Dr. Davidson is not a \"touchy-feely\" guy, but is technically a great surgeon. Having been in the medical field myself for nearly 30 years, I appreciate competence over bedside manner from a surgeon. He has been listed as one of the best bariatric surgeons in Dallas for many years. When I went for the informational seminar, they actually treat it as an office vist, and you see the doctor and get evaluated by him. When they are discussing different surgeries with you, they ask you to list the complications of the procedure that you are having done, just to insure you truly understand. His staff is great. Many have had various weight loss surgeries and are very sympathetic and thoughtful with the patients. His aftercare program is 5 years. I have the cell phone number for his NP and she is always available for questions or concerns. The post op diet is quite structured and relatively strict. As a result, at 6 months post op I have very few food related problems."
