Zero's

Hello to my fellow 'loser' friends :)

How great it is to tell everyone that I am now under 200 pounds. I am now at 197 pounds. How great that is ! My highest weight, that I know of, was 518 pounds. My current clothes sizes; t-shirt= large, pants= 15 or 17 junior miss :) Oh, b4   clothing size was 10x. ( Who knew they made clothes bigger than a 3x ? I sure didn't. But when your bigger than the "average bear", you keep your eyes and ears peeled looking out for specialty shops. And I lucked up and found a lady in Cartersville, Ga who made clothes my size! They were plain and simple and they fit! I may still have one outfit that I kept as a reminder of what could happen. Where I could end back up. Its been 8 years, and counting.
If you are just starting on your journey, or in the middle, just keep on keeping on. Don't stop where you are. Keep your feet moving. Or your arms. Any movement is better than NO movement. If my story reaches one person each day, each week, each month, each year.... and if you are inspired, please inspire another person with your story. You never know what that person is going thru. They may not even know what "Gastric Bypass" surgery is or what is does or the miracles that  can happen. Heaven knows I didnt know. The Good Lord knew what he was doing the day I sat next to Mandy. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think back to the second she said 'Hello. my name is Mandy. Would you like to see what I looked like 8 months ago? " The rest, as they say... is history. My story is still being written. I hope someone is reading this and it gives you hope. Please feel free to email me. Or text me. Or write me. Best wishes, and yummy dishes. * Susan Bonner* [email protected]/ yahoo msngr susan35960/ http://www.facebook.com/susan.rogers.bonner . And if you feel like adding another friend/and or buddy, my youngest son, Kevin, needs moral support as well. His body grabbed ahold of every gene it could think of when it comes to weight gain. He would definately be upset if he knew I blasted to the world that he has a 'problem', but then again, he loves his mom very much and he knows I am just trying to help him. He is 11 years old and he was super young when I had the surgery. Bless his heart, he doesnt recognize me in any of the old photos. When he first heard me go into detail on how and why I chose weight loss surgery, the thing that caught his attention, was me telling him that I chose the surgery because I was a quarter-ton Mommy. More than a quarter ton, actually. That was the day that scared me into being serious and no more "diet" for me. That was the day I decided on a lifestyle change, on a daily basis. I could simply ramble on and on and on. I have so much to say about the surgery, good and bad. Please feel free to talk to me. Ask me any question. No matter how gory, or gross, and especially if you think the question is silly or stupid. Those are the ones that count. God Bless. Susan Bonner/ 9-16-2011/
