My journey actually began January 08 when I attended a seminar and found out that my insurance didn't pay at all. I changed jobs and got different insurance. A friend had RNY and told me that BCBS NC paid for the surgery, so I attended the same seminar again in January 09. Then I attended adifferent one the next month. This is where my journey begans to actually do something with my weight. My first visit to the office was March. I began to get all the paper work done that I needed to for the insurance. My appointments were made for the sleep study, dietitian, exercise physiologist, 5 year weight history, and all the other hoops that I had to jump through. I have completed all of those and my surgery is scheduled for June 2nd. It is coming really quickly. I had to start the liquid diet yesterday. It has been rough at times. I know that through Christ I can do all things.
