I still feel so in the dark about the surgery.  I only recently began my process; but I feel like I don't know enough.

How long will I be out of work? What are the dos and don'ts? Do I find this out when I meet with the nutritionist?

The hospital I am having it at only has the support group once a month. I don't think that is often enough. Are there other groups on Long Island that welcome people from other hospitals?

I worry: will I be able to have the surgery in 2012? What if my employer changes health insurance companies?  I'm sure everyone has felt the same things when they were going through the process.

I can hardly wait!
