Happy Valentines Day

I am taking a free day to eat what i want today but i do think we will take a family walk :) It's BEAUTIFUL here in Texas today - I can at least get a little exercise and enjoy the day with the family!

I'm trying to stick to a healthy eating plan now as i finish quallifying for surgery. I know i'll never make it through the 2 week liquid diet if i don't control myself now and cut back. So far so good - i've stuck with it most of this week - I do insist on having a free day once a week to eat anything I want since it's going to be awhile once i start and the liquid diet and have the surgery before i can something i love again :) Tomorrow is valentines day and we are having MEXICAN (my fav) Then Monday I'll be back to the healthy low carb eating and I will force myself to start doing some walking :/

I started walking last year and got to where i could do 4 miles a day in 75 minutes and i had lost to 238 from my highest of 272  - then .... the holidays came .. and the weather turned bad - and i fell of the exercise wagon and gained back to 255 ish - I am hoping to get enough control over myself to lose back to 230 or maybe even get to 220 before i have surgery. I think i'll probably get the surgery in April but i don't have a date yet.

turned out wonderful after finding this site! I have so enjoyed the before and after pictures and the stories and info in the forums.

I am feeling more and more confident that the lap-band is something i could deal with ... I'm still a little confused and a lot concerned but the forums have really helped - seems like a great group of people are here and i'll totally use this site to help me along the way from here on out.
