Hi Linda, Thank you for your kinds words, thoughts, and prayers, they are so greatly needed right now... as I am the only surviving parent to my children (details in my profile). The surgery itself doesn't scare me, but the prospect that my children could be left parentless does! It saddens me so much. I read your profile and also want to send my prayers your way as you dealing with issues of your own. Many thoughts are with you.. please keep us updated. (((hugs))) Apple Pie

Linda, as you are facing this new challenge please know that my prayers are with you for a good outcome. Remember that if you hadn't gone for this surgery you might never have known about the nodule. What a blessing to find it now instead of later! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks for the wishes! I am now three days post-op and am doing just great!! I came home from the hospital yesterday and was doing my walking in Lowes this morning! I had to come home and take a nap after, but it felt good just getting out into the sunshine! My wishes are for you to have as easy a time as I have had these first few days post-op! KAREN

Linda - thank you for the kind comments. I have not updated my page in a very long time. I am now 149 pounds....no longer considered overweight. I am in a size 6-8 and feel great. Dr. Naaman is wonderful and you will be extremely happy with the results. Hang in there. April
