Surgery is over and the hard part is just beginning. I am working hard to keep my body moving and trying to get in all of my protein and 64oz of liquid per day. I feel pretty good and don't have much pain or anything, but my tummy gets full quick and I have to be very aware of when I am empty so I can get the next ounce in and down the hatch. So far so good though, and I have lots of friends pushing me along. I'll be sure to update in a while. It's time for another stroll around the block right now.

Time sure does fly when you are having fun. As the surgery gets closer and closer, I am getting more and more excited. I feel so much better than I ever have in my life and knowing that it only goes up from here is so encouraging. I just got done doing my boxing workout today, and let me tell you that it is a great stress reliever. I have a job where I work with people constantly, and knowing that I can go home and beat on the bag at the gym just makes it so much better. People tell me they notice a difference in me. I walk much faster than I used to. I eat much slower, and I am very pleasant and chipper. I like the changes I see and others are seeing in me. Diet and exercise can really do a lot for a person.
