Barbara, everytime I read your post about your Dad and self. I say a prayer for y'all. I have had sickness and death recently in my family. and it do consume your every inch of your being. I had a brother pass at a young age. also I have a daughter who had cancer but survived it. They said it was the kind that kids don't survive from. Oh well God had other plans. and I tell ya weather you are pre-op or post-op your mind is not where it should be when your love one is so sick. anyhow going back and forth to the hospital will get you off of focusing on yourself. Try to do some meditations with God, and think about how your love one would react to you if they knew you weren't taking care of yourself. I think if you put your God in your thoughts you will begin to handle whats worring you. Remember God gives comfort. Oh! I know you know this, I read your profile. God is good. Im praying for you hon. I can feel your pain and know where you are coming from. Hang in there God Bless you and take one day at a time. **Hugs**

Barbara, please know that you and your father are lovingly being thought of today. I'm asking God to bless him with His healing touch, and to give you all strength for each day to come.

Dear Barbara of course your father will be in my prayers as well as many others I'm sure. I know how it feels for a loved one to be ill and I've lost both my parents. I'm hoping you have your dear father for many years to come. Hugs,

Before an Operation Almighty God, you know my inmost being, the secrets of my body and soul. Fill my heart with trust, even as I fear, and bless the surgeons and nurses and all who work to help me with gifts of healing and care. Be near, gently sustaining me, and supporting them in their skills. Amen.

Barbara, sending you my best wishes, and asking God to bless you with His peace. Two verses that are special to me Psalm 56:3 - When I am afraid, I will trust in you. & Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Our God is SO awesome, and you are SO precious to Him!!
