Roc W. Bauman, MD, FACS, FASMBS

"Can't say enough good things about Dr. Bauman and his staff! I had visited with another surgeon in the area and did not feel like we established any rapport. But Dr. Bauman expressed a genuine interest in me, why I wanted surgery, my history and how I came to be in his office. His attitude is reflected throughout the office and everyone I spoke with was warm, friendly and interested in addressing any needs or concerns my wife or I had.rnrnDr. Bauman might come off as being a little stern when you first meet him but give him a few minutes and he warms up. I realized about five minutes in that he was evaluating me very carefully to make sure I was informed, had read the materials provided and was ready to make a comittment. So he had some tough, searching questions for me. There's a reason he's got such a good track record and I think a big part of it is this evaluation of each patient's needs and readiness.rnrnI especially like the aftercare program. They follow up with you for a year, all of which is included in the surgery fee. The nutritionists gave me easy-to-follow guidelines and referred me to several places where I could shop for supplements and supplies. I travel a lot so I had many questions about eating \"on the road\" and they showed me how I could manage it easily.rnrnOne of the coolest things that Dr. Bauman's office did..was to refer me here!"
