Hi,, I know I am probably older then most of everyone that is having lap band surgery.. is there anyone that is age 60?? or near that?? I have bad knees, bad back, have to walk with a can,, i gained over 70 lbs in 2yrs.. i went for all my preops etc and everything came out fine.. Im still nervous about it all but thanks to this site.. its making me less nervous.. seeing what all have to say.. they said that if i loose the weight ,, which i know is most likely true I wont have all my problems anymore.. im just scared because of my age.. 
we have a huge swimming pool i cant even get in it im afraid of heights now and can barely do any housework ,, hubby does most of it and thank God he loves to cook also.. right now im on the 2 week liquid protien diet before op... i have already lost 8 lbs in 3 days from im sure water retention.. so i know if i do go thru with this i will be succesfull.. infact im not even hungry on the diet at all.. i drink so much water that it fills me up.. and i think i have it implanted in my head that i can loose it now.. with the surgery.. excited but kinda nervous tho..
