I don't know if I have a story except I have been overweight as long as I can remember. I never felt fat though until the last 2 years. I have known several people that had gastric bypass and I have been researching off and on for 3 years. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in April and just pretty much denied it. Finally decided enough was enough and was ready to take the plunge. Found a great surgeon and the timing just feels right. I have great support from friends and family. I am so thankful for this website. I have learned a lot from the chatroom and the people in there. I will continue to blog as my journey progresses.
