Wow - I have not updated in a while!  Just been so busy.
I am doing great, I have lost 90 pounds and I am 8 months out. I feel great and I am loaded with energy!  I can eat almsot anything I want and don't get sick, as long as its not too much sugar. I am still losing although it seems to be a little slower now. I think I am losing about a pound a week now sometimes two which is not bad. My family says I have lost enough and doesn't want me to lose anymore! However, I WANT to lose some more. I don't think I am seeing what everyone else is seeing because everyone is talking about how skinny I've gotten and I just don't see that. I am in 9/10's and 11/12's depending on the make and style. I have never regreted having this surgery one minute! Its the best thing I've ever done for myself!  I need to put up new pics but our camera broke so I gotta buy a new one. Hopefully my next update will be sooner - lol

Sorry I haven't updated much. I am down 41 pounds in 2 months. I feel great and I am so glad I had this surgery done! My life is changing so much, for the better!

Well I got a call this morning, my surgery is at 1pm instead of 11am but I still have to be at the hospital for 7:30am!!  I am alittle irritated over that because that means I have to lay there waiting 5 hours to go back for surgery!  Looks like I'd better bring a word search or something!
I just feel bad that my hubby will have to be sitting there that long. I may see if he can leave for a while and come back.

Well today is Friday and my surgery is Monday morning at 11am. I have to be at the hospital for 7:30am.
Wish me luck my friends and say a special prayer for me.
I will update when I get home, even if its short I will let yall know I am home and doing okay.

Well, I get to meet my surgeon tomorrow, Dr. Hargroder - I am excited!
My appt. is at 9am!
Yippeeee, getting closer and closer!!!

I got a phone call today from Dr. Hargroder's office and my surgery has been changed to Feb. 25th!
I am really excited, however very nervous as well. I am sure all that will subside once I meet Dr. Hargroder and talk with him.

First of all, I must give all glory and thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ!  Thank you Jesus!  I got my other loan approved today for the rest of the money for surgery!
I was totally ecstatic!!  Although I did have to do 2 loans, and the payments are alittle more than I wanted them to be, I took it.  I will have to just make some sacrifices.
I go see Dr. Hargroder Feburary 22nd and my surgery date is March 10th!!! 

I will be taking lots of before pictures and posting them, as bad as I hate too, I hate pictures, well, right now I do - lol

Well,I found out today, I got approved for over half the money through surgeryloans.com. I am lacking $5800.00. I was pretty excited to be approved for the $7780.00, It made me feel a bit closer to my dream of having WLS in which I have been trying to have since 2003!
I am awaiting an answer from my credit union for the full amount of my surgery, however if they don't approve the full amount, I will have to borrow the $5800.00 - that is not really what I want to do because I'd rather have one note instead of two  
Its almost worth anything to me to have this done but at the same time, I can't put my family in a big financial bind.
I will update as soon as I get a response from my credit union. I am excited, but nervous. I am so close!!!

Well I have been trying for WLS since 2003 and never suceeded thanks to the good ole health ins. denials!  Oh well thats done and over and now I think I have decided on having the vertical sleeve done and paying for it myself instead of fighting ins. companies!
I have an appt. tomorrow 2/4 to see about getting my money for the surgery.
I am alittle nervous but excited all at the same time.
