Surgery Day!

Good morning.  It is December 10, 2009, 5:00 a.m.  I am up and showered and ready to head to RI Hospital.  I am Dr. Roye's first surgery of the day.  Nervous, excited, and worried.  Am I doing the right thing?  Will I wake up from surgery?  Will I do a good job managing my diet after the surgery.  Time will tell.  I have to be at the hospital for 6 a.m.  Not sure what time surgery is scheduled.  My husband is very, very worried, but he knows this is something I need to do.

Will post again once I am home from the hospital.
