Hello everyone.. My name is Tarka and I am new to OH! I am just about done my preop stages because I go for surgery on Monday!! That's right 8-13-2007... I can't wait.. I have been reading all of the support that everyone provides in ths website, I only wish I had joined earlier!
I am a mom of a beautiful 2 1/2 year old named Arianah. She is absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait for my 'new' life to begin so that I can be the mom I want to be... I can't wait to be able to play with her and not get so tired, go to amusement parks and be able to ride the rides with her.. I can't wait for a lot of things...
I have a wonderful partner named Ann.. She has been VERY supportive throughout the entire process and to that I am very thankful! Everyone needs that special someone who pulls them through..
I am a little nervous for my surgery... I am like 85% vs 15%.. 85% TOTALLY EXCITED CAN'T WAIT, and then 15% scared and anxious... I hope that these are feelings that everyone has... ?? 
I am starting at 265 (Although my highest weight was 278).. I will post as soon as I am out of the hospital so that I can update people on how I am doing...
