Hey Fam, on June 8, 2010 I had my revision done!!!! I am optimistic and I am determined!!!! I came home Friday evening, I was sore although it was not as bad as I imagined!!! Im grateful for my supportive family and friends!!! I am trying to get in as many liquids as possible!!! No dehydration!!! I go for my post op visit on Mon... hopefully I lost some pounds.... my face looks slimmer already!!! Anyhow Im off... going for a little walk then back home for a nap!!! Thank you to Ms. Kitty..... ANEWMEFOR2010... and Ms. Kerbi.... thanks for the support ladies!!!!

helllloooo oh fam!!!

Hello to my OH FAM!! I had surgery yesterday 3-5-09 and i am home!! What a beautiful day in NY, the weather is great!! Im feeling fantastic and Im going to luv my lap band!!! I am a lilttle sore especially around the port area and thats about it!! One of the nurses in the hospital asked me was I sure that I just had wls, because I seemed to energetic and I was not complaining!!! I told her that my stomach feels like I did hundreds of crunches and that was it!! the gas pain that I had yesterday is gone, thank GOD for that!! Im just checking in with u guys to let everyone know that Im recovering well and thanks for the prayers and well wishes!!! AS of right now Im  on my way out the door to walk a couple of blocks then its nap time!!!

Today is day 12 of my liquid diet and I have lost 24 pds!! The other day I kind of cheated my kids were eating Doritos and i was like if I lick the cheese off technically I wont be eating the nacho!! Then I was like I HAVE WILLPOWER!! Yeah right, cus  I licked the cheese off of 4 of those bad boyz and I was happy!!   And now today I have really bad GAS!!! THat is what My greedy AZZ gets!!! I do have one question... How many of you cheated on your pre-op diet and what did you eat?

I know that I have not been writing much in the past few months!! I was sick and trying to get back on track!! In the last couple of weeks I have done everything that i needed to do to get to this point, My surgery date: March 5, 2009!!! Whoopppeeee!!! Im ready to get thangs started!! Thanks to All the support from My OH Family!! And there are a few who have been there 4-real and i appreciate it!! My homegirl V you have been my support for a long time now and I luv u mama Thanks  for being there when I wanted to give up!! 1 more week and i will be banded, hell yeah thats what im talkin about!

Hello to everyone!! I have been in and out of the hospital for the last month with Asthma!! Im just trying to get better. I now know that I need WLS more than ever!! I am strong and I look forward to what 2009 will bring!!! Thanks to my OH family for the support!! And to my homegirl Vonett Thanks MaMa!!

OK...So I have Asthma and for the last month I have been taking PREDISONE once a day now I have to take it twice a day @ 20mgs a pill! PREDISONE is EVIL!! I gained 15 pds in one month and I have been following my diet very well...WTF!! I have no choice but to take this damn steroid because I need to get my asthma in order. But Damn can't a girl get a break!!! Im sick of being sick, Im tired cus I really am tired most of the time! Im going through a lot of issues @ home and @ work!! Im just annoyed and I feel defeated @ this present time!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I went with one of my sisters to pick up some items for our other sisters babyshower. We went to a spot that I usually go to. They dont take credit or debit cards, so io suggested to my sister that we go to McDonalds to use the ATM because her bank is affiliated with this particular cash machine. The lady in the party store was like she(talking about me) just wants to get something to eat!!! I gave that B.I.T.C.H. a look like I should jump my big ass over the counter and show you how hungry I am!! But, Im a lady first and foremost!!! So I opted just to look @ her like she was a big dummy!!Then she said I was just joking!! Is she serious? Cus, I didn't see the humor in that shit!!!  People can be so ignorant and that is a shame!! So guess what I took my sister to my other spot and we got the majority of the items from there!! Now look her dumb ass just lost some $$$$$!! But we still got the chair from her cus she throws in some freebees with it!! Im like WTF is on the mind of people cant they just think before they speak!!!! I just had to get that off my chest!!!!

Im going through this process with love and support from my family!! (Thank GOD for them)! A couple of my friends know! Some supportive others are not! You never really know what one goes through until you walk in their shoes. Tell me why Phat chicks hate on one another more than the skinny chicks hate on us!! Because my thinner girlfriends are more supportive, which kind of shocked me!! At one time I would never imagine getting surgery....but guess what times change! After giving birth to my 3rd child the weight is just not coming off!! I want to run and be more active with my children. Im tired most of the time and I noticed recently that my knees are bothering me. Enough is Enough! I actually eat right (thanks to all the different diets that I have been on! LOL I get enough physical activity daily( i have a 3yr old and a 22month old) so yall know im working it out! I go see the shrink next Friday and back to my PCP on the 29th. Most of my paperwork is in order so until next time...
