Band Removal Surgery Tomorrow

I am having my band removed tomorrow at Potomac Hospital in VA and I am so happy about it. It has been 6 and a half long years of absolutely no benefit with a foreign object in my body. I just hope there isn't that much damage done to my insides. My family is really against me having the DS done since I now know my insurance covers it. Now they have me nervous about surgery itself, the removal and the possible revision a few months down the line. If I could do this on my own I definitely would have by now. I am 34 years old and have a 4 year old son I want to be here for until he have kids at least and I am scared to death of missing it all. I know all surgeries are not the same and they all have the risk of death and I definitely am not ready to die. I have decided to buy a treadclimber when I get my taxes back and get on it. Hopefully I will have some success with it within six months if not I am definitely having a conversion surgery. Well I just want to make sure I keep you all informed of my journey because we all need as much information as we can get. I will let you know how the removal go once I am feeling up to it.
