Feeling pretty darn good

So I'm now 5 weeks and 4 days post-op and I'm feeling really good. I have lost a total of 39 lbs. and my doctor has cleared me for regular "healthy" eating and exercise. I have gotten through my first "stall" and have started losing again. Yay! Even though I wasn't losing lbs., I could definitely tell I was losing inches. I plan on trying to see if I can get into the next size down on my clothes now. I tried a couple weeks and I still needed to lose more in my belly -time to try again :) My wedding rings fall right off me now so I haven't been able to wear them, but that's a weird feeling :) I still have days when I have absolutely no energy. I'm sure that will be the case off and on for a while.
So far, I've had problems with the following foods:
Eggs, poached and scrambled if they are too dry
Hamburger meat --- even if it's moist, I still have a problem with it
Hot dogs -- Won't be trying those again for a while -- I sure miss chili dogs...
I'm very great full for this surgery. I still can't believe, after all the years of trying to get this done, that it's done! Everything fell into place just perfectly.
