My name is Teresa, Im 40 yrs old the mother of 5 boys 23,19,18,17 and 12. I have been married to wonderful man for 11 years now and he supports whatever I want to do. I have been obese my entire life I always say I was born fat and am going to die fat lol....I am now looking to change that, I have tried almost every diet every there and I have been successful with most of them only to reagain all I have lost and more. I have severe allergies and asthma so exercise is very difficult for me I did after 4 years of my Dr wanting me to go on shots went on them yesterday, mainly because of how severe the allergies have gotten. I cant even clean the house without stopping several times to catch my breath. I want to be able to lose this weight and keep it off I want to be able to walk without pain in my knees, hips, back and ankles. I dont want to be the fattest mom at football anymore, I want to be happy and healthy again. I had until 5 years ago been a healthy obese person then my allergies started and things went down hill fast from there. The surgeon I have chosen (I say chosen loosely cause he is the only one in my area that does this surgery) seems to be an excellent Dr but is totally anti lap band but says he will preform which ever surgery I choose to have, although when he submitted my insurance approval he put rny for the type he says he can change that no problem. I am looking forward to making lots of new friends on obesity help. Thanks for reading
