"My first impression of Dr. Ozment was that he made me feel quite comfortable and that I could ask him any question without reserve. Before, during and after surgery my opinion of Dr. Ozment is still with the greatest respect. Dr. Ozment office staff was very informative and Madelyn was very good. After I had my surgery, Dr. Ozment offically retired. I came back for my six month check up but after that I have been on my own for follow up. I found a local doctor who was willing to keep up with my labs. Madelyn call me several times during my first six months for follow ups but have not heard from anyone at St. Vincent's since then. There is really no aftercare program that was available for me since I am 3 hours away. If Dr. Ozment was still available, I would recommend him to anyone who wanted a good surgeon. My scar healed very nicely and I have no problems since having open RNY surgery."
