Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)…Don’t forget to update your profile at least monthly and take lots of pictures…the transformations will make your jaw drop!!! RNY 10/31/03 – down 100 pounds TODAY AND AN OFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE CENTURY CLUB!!! Good luck!

Paula, Just wanted to wish you luck on your surgery! I had my surgery on the 10th of November and it was the best thing that I could have done for myself. I can tell you that the first month is the hardest and that it gets better each month. After awhile you'll forget you've had the surgery and try to eat too fast and then you'll remember. Hi Paula! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! You will have ups and downs. You will have fears and excitement. Know that you can turn to us your AMOS family at all times to handle those moments.
