Every Day a Little Easier

Monday was surgery...it went well, but I definitely have far more incisions than I expected (6). It took me a while to come out of the anesthesia.  They couldn't give me more pain meds until I could stay awake enough to breathe on my own. I did well with all of the walking, and breathing into the spirometer. Tuesday was even easier. I got to come home in the evening. They gave me 3 days of pain meds (which seems a little light to me, but I guess we will see how today and tomorrow go). Yesterday was rough, adjusting to being at home, and managing my own pain.  I didnt sleep great Tuesday night. Today I am in slightly less pain so far.  I'm excited to see what today brings.
