04/23/08 ... 5 years ago yesterday I got my approval ... wow how time flies. Somedays it feels like yesterday and other days it feels like it really was 5 years ago.  Everything is still going good.  I  have gained about 15 pounds from my lowest but from what everyone else and my doctors say that is about normal.  My husband and I have started going to the gym so we can get in shape and get toned up ... but mainly to help us stay healthy.  It is so easy to slip back into old ways ... so I always remind my self how life was before GB and how great it is now ... that helps a ton!

47.  06/26/2007 ~ Wow how time flies.  I am still the same ... I guess at this point I don't expect to lose weight but I do have to be careful not to gain weight ... I didn't go thru all this to go back to being 268 pounds .... NO THANKS!  John had GS 04/17/2007 ~ he has lost almost 80 pounds ... I always tell him that is not fair that he is loosing it so fast but come to think of it he was 365 pounds and needs to lose more then I did.  We have been trying to get PG since his reversal July 2006 and had some minor set backs with his sperm count not wanting to come back but as of the last check up everything is back to normal so I guess now it is in God's hands.  I can be very unpatient but I am trying to remember that God has his plans already for our lives and it is not up to me .. if it is meant to be it will happen when it happens.  Wish us luck!

4 years ago today I got my approval .... I can still remember it like yesterday! Eerything is still going great ... I can't believe it has been almost 4 years.  My husband just had surgery 04/17/2007 and he is doing as good as can be expected.  It is amazing to me how doctors do the post op diet so different ... but I guess each doctor has their how rules!  My weight is still the same ... and I am looking forward to this summer so I can get out and do more then freeze in the snow!
