I can't believe it is over!!  I had my surgery on Friday and I'm home today.  It feels so good to be home.  I will write more when I am up to it.  I am kind of tired right now.  :)

Tomorrow is my big day.  I have so much I want to do today and yet I know I will only get a portion of it done.  The rest will have to wait until I am feeling better after.  :)  As far as I know, I am the first one which means I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 in the morning.  It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have an hour and a half drive.  lol  The hospital is suppose to call me today to finalize the time so it could change.  Well, I will write more after I get home.  I hope everyone is have a great day!!  :)

Wow, where has the month gone?!  I can't believe it is already the end of the month.  That means just a couple more days until my surgery.  This Friday is my big day.  I have been really positive until last night.  My husband and I were talking about it over dinner and he told me his concerns.  I totally understand since it is always scary when a loved one is having surgery.  I didn't think much of it until I went to sleep.  Then for some reason I couldn't stop dreaming about the surgery.  I was totally scared and questioning what I was doing.  I woke up knowing I want to do it, but not feeling quite as positive about it and actually a little scared.  I know this is all normal so I will just continue to stay busy until Friday.  If anyone has any advice or information regarding the hospital, etc. I'd love to hear it!!  I hope everyone is doing great and enjoy Memorial Day!!  :)

Time is sure flying by.  I just looked at a calendar and I have a little less than three weeks until surgery.  I am still pretty busy so I haven't really had the time to think too much about it.  I guess in a way, it  doesn't seem real.  I have thought about doing this for a few years now, but always had a reason not to.  Now, I have no more reasons against it.  I can only think of reasons why I should do it.  :)

I had my final nutrition consultation as well as my meeting with the office nurse today.  Now I just wait.  I'm glad to be done with everything.  I'm sure the time will fly by and before I know it, I'll be waiting to go home from the hospital.  :)

Today is such a beautiful day.  It is already about 80 out and it just feels wonderful!!  I absolutely love the sun and the warmth that the sun produces!! 

I only have a couple of weeks left before my surgery.  I have been so busy with school that I really don't even think about it.  I guess that is a good thing.  Although, if it wasn't for school, I would have already had my surgery.  I have about a week after school is done until my day.  I think that is when I will start to stress on it and will be busy trying to get everything done that I want to do prior to going in. 

I really am excited about it and am hoping to have good results with the weight loss!!

I was thinking of changing my surgery date to something a little closer, but decided to keep my original date.  This way, my husband doesn't have to take as many days off of work.  So, it is official, my surgery date is June 4th.  I can't wait to be done with it and be on the losing side.  I went out last night and was miserable trying to find something that I wanted to wear.  I kept thinking that it won't be much longer until I can wear clothes that I really like.  :)  I sooo can't wait for that!!  I hope everyone is doing well!!  :)

I just got a call from my doctors office and they told me that my insurance has approved my surgery!!  It was that easy I guess.  I am sooo excited!!  I set a date of June 4th, but I'm kind of wishing I would have made it a couple of days sooner.  I promised my mom I would take her on a short trip after I got out of class this semester and I hate to let her down.  :(  The only things left to do is to meet with the Nurse as well as one last nutrition consultation.  I have that set closer to the surgery date.  

The waiting is crazy!!  It's not like a have been waiting a long time, but I just want to know what the insurance company will say. I have to be honest though.  I am actually kind of nervous about the surgery.  Don't get me wrong, I really want to do it, I am just nervous about the unknown.  I can't help but wonder if there will be a lot of pain after,  will I have GI trouble after, etc.  

I have found a protein drink that I really like.  I need to find out if it will be okay for after.  I sure hope so since it really tastes good and mixes completely.  It is called Proti Diet and the flavor is Tropical Fruits.  Each serving has 15 grams of protein.  If anyone knows of it, let me know if it is okay.  It has 2 grams of sugar, which comes from fructose and sucralose.  

Hopefully the next time I post, it will be to say that I am approved.  I hope everyone is doing great!!  :)

I got word today that everything has already been submitted to my insurance company.  Now, I have to wait to see what they have to say.  I so hope it is yes.   I think I liked it better before I knew my packet was submitted.  Now I am a little anxious and can't stop wondering what they will say.   Can you tell I am a little impatient at times?!  :)
