okay so the doctors office called me again with 2 more appts before my surgery....... one on the 10 of august and that is for pre testing and the outher is on the 12 of august to meet with the anastiologist and from there the 16 of august is the big day

YES THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE JUST CALLED ME AND THEY SAID THAT I AM APPROVED!~~
THEY SAID THAT THEY LIKED MY INS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE QUICKEST TO APPROVE!!!!!!!!!!! WOW THAT WAS FAST 6 HOURS! OMG NOW THEY MADE ME AN APPT FOR AUG12 FOR A PRE OP CLASS AND TO MEET THE GUY THAT PUTS YOU TO SLEEP (ANASTIOLIGIST).... SO I WILL KEEP YOU UP DATED! SURGERY ON AUG 16

okay so nancy from the doctors office called me today..... and she informed me that she submitted all the papers to my insurance company for approval and she gave me a date of aug.16,2010 omg its so close like 2 weeks from now!!!! so once we hear back from the insurance in like a week or 4 days nancy will be giving me a call back to confirm that date with me! yeahhh
! i will keep you all updated! thanks and have a great day! i love you god!

medical clearance~psch appt~ and surgeon meeting~!

okay so i am gonna jam all my last appts in to this last blog.... so here goes.... i went for my medical clearance and they cleared me ,,, i went to the psch and they cleared me too .... and then i met with the surgeon and when i went to go meet him i had to lose 6 more pounds and i told him that and he said well seeing that you are healthy besides the wieght and you are young and no diebetes and you are all done all your appts and you a re also considered a lightwieght, that i will approve you for surgery if you lose just 2 or 3 more pounds and then he said that they will be submitting my papers to the ins. yeahhhh! no i need to work on my 2 -3 pounds ~!

well i was on my way to lowell genral when i got a phone call on my phone and it was lowell general telling me that my appt was cancelled becasue my psych was in the hosp. and that they would have to rescedule me!
i have waited this hole time for this appt and now i have to be resceduled! omg! oh well i guess i will just wait!

FIRST APPT WITH THE NUTRITIONIST!~

SO I WENT FOR MY FIRST APPT WITH THE NURTIONIST TODAY AND HER NAME IS JENNY SHE IS VERY NICE.... SHE ASKED ME FOR MY DAILY FOOD DIARY AND TO MY SURPRISE SHE WAS VERY HAPPY WITH MY PROGRESS SO FAR!
SHE SAID THAT MY DIARY WAS WRITTEN VERY WELL AND I TRIED COUNTING THE PROTIENS AND SHE WAS IMPRESSED... SHE AHD A PAPER THAT HAD A BUNCH OF ITEMS ON THERE THAT HAS TO BE CHECKED OFF AND MET BEFORE THE SURGERY AND I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING ON THE CHECKLIST YEAAAAA!
SHE TOLD ME THAT I JUST HAVE TO LOSE MY LAST 6 POUNDS AND I WILL BE SET TO GO! I GOT MY BLOOD RESULTS BACK AND THEY FOUND A COUPLE THINGS THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED #1 MY VITAMAN D IS LOW SO SHE GAVE ME A PERSCRIPTION FOR THAT 50,000IC PER A PILL AND I HAVE A VIRUS IN MY TUMMY CALLED (H-FLURRY)
SOUNDS SCARY SO SHE GAVE ME A PERSCRIPTION FOR THAT TOO BECUASE I GUESS IT CAUSES ULCERS!? SO THATS IT FOR TODAY AND TOMMORROW I HAVE AN APPT WITH THE PSYCH... I WILL KEEP U ALL UPDATED! THEY ARE THINKING THAT I MIGHT HAVE MY SURGERY AT THE MIDDLE OR THE END OF AUGUST!

so i went to get all my required tests done yesturday at the lowell general hopspital and what i got done was~ are you ready.... uper gi, abdominal ultrasound,cardio echo, lab blood work, pee in a cup, chest x-ray ,and an ekg!the worst part of all those was the upper gi, they have you swallow this thick chalk stuff that is white and then they have you roll around on a table so they can see how you digest things when you swallow them and to see in side of your stomach and that stuf is NASTYYYYYYYYYY but i got thru it! thank god ! so i will be getting my results probally in 2 weeks! i meet with the nutrtionist on wendsday and then the psych on thursday and then with the surgeon on the 31 of this month!~ wow so many apptsthis month before i know it i will already be having the surgery! i am so excited and scared at the same time ! i have been in this program since may 6,2010 and i can not believe how fast the time has went by! well good bye oh and i will keep you all updated! by the way i have the bestest husband in the world he is so supportive of me! ~i love you manuel~

well i went to my appt on may 5th and they told me that i need to lose 5% of my body wieght which is 13lbs to be exact! so i am currrently working on that. i also wento a nutritional apt on may 26th,2010 and they gave me alist of things that i need to do to lose the weight and things that i will need to know for my diet following the surgery! i also went out and bought the items that i would need following the surgery and pre-op things like....baby spoons, measuring cups, meausring spoons, food scale, 100% whey protien powder,carnation instant breakfast, and all my vitamens, etc! so my next apt is on july,9 2010 for all of my testing for upper gi, abdominal ultra sound, cardiac echo, lab testing(blood work), chest ex-ray, and an ekg, and then my next one is on july,14,2010 for the nutritional evaluation meeting and then july,15,2010 is my psychological ecaluation, and then on july,30,2010 is my inital visit with the surgeon.!!!! and when all of that is said and done then they send all of my recods to my insurance for approval! and thats it its in there hands! i will keep you all updated! adios!

okay so here i am, i went yesturday for my initial visit to start the program at lowell general hospital, they weighed me and i weighed 266.5 just gross.....then i went on to talk to the nurses and the gave me a packet to look over and they made all of my appts! there are lots of them most of them are for july and i meet with the surgen on july 30th and they said that i would probally be having the surgery in august if all the appts check out ok and so on! so i will keep you all up dated!

called the doctors office today to tell them that i was approved for the insurance and they gave me my 1st initial appt with them that will get the ball rolling in the wright direction! yeah the appt is for May 5,2010! until then take care!
