Andrew Averbach

" During my visits to Dr. Averbachs office I give nothing but praise to his office staff.I was only involved with his staff just slightly prior to surgery except for one person. Her name is Chantel, his surgery scheduler. Due to medical issues my surgery was resheduled at the last moment the first time. I must say I cried so much however, Chantel tried to reassure me that \"everything would be alright.\" After calming me down with soothing/caring words she then proceeded to let me know \"alright Rhonda, now that you have calmed down let me find out what's going on.\" She then took the time to contact my other physicians and see who and why cancelled my surgery. As soon as she got all the information together I was the next one she called back. I must say...long story short her professionalism and her caring and kind spirit helped me get through this crucial time while also taking care of a very possible serious health problem.rn I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Averbach. During my stay at St. Agnes Hospital he was very professional yet caring and calming to. Sometimes when visted by drs in a hospital one is given the impression that they are just a number and the dr comes in and leaves so fast you aren't sure if they were actually there or not. However Dr. Averbach while in my room focused on ME, not the interns, not the tv, not himself, but me. He made sure I understood what he was saying in laymans terms what I didnt understand in medical terms. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great."
