"I had my gastric bypass done on December 29, 2008. I can not say enough great things about Baylor Plano and Dr. Nicholson! My first impression of Dr. Nicholson was that he really understood and knew what he is doing. Most bariatric surgeons these days are most likely doing it for money, or so I am told. But Dr. Nicholson is really doing it to make a difference. At his seminar, he tells it like it is, and that is what I also like about him. Great person doing great things for others. His office staff really incredibly amazing! Crimson worked with us to make sure we had everything for the insurance company. Being 18 years old, it was easy to pull all my medical history. There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about Dr. Nicholson, his staff, and Balyor Plano!!! Dr. Nick is very serious about post op nutrition. He will tell you everything you need to know about it from the pouch stretching to the painful dumping syndromes. He will tell it as it is. Baylor's aftercare program is amazing. After a day or so after surgery, you will be expected to get up and start walking around. There are support groups meeting every month that are amazing! He also stressed about the risks of gastric bypass very thoroughly. I would have to rate him as a 10 out of a range of 1-10, 10 being best! He is a very great guy doing great things for us!"
