Manuel E. Castro-Arreola

"My first impression of Dr. Castro was he has very kind eyes and a caring heart. His compassion is apparent in his mannerisms and the down to earth way he speaks to you. The office staff was pleasant, although I happened to witness one lady being rude to another staff person. If you are thinking of using Dr. Castro make sure you are your own champion and get all your ducks in a row before surgery. If you haven't had a sleep study, schedule one before you see Dr. Castro. This helps get the ball rolling. Dr. Castro's office will provide a psych eval consult if your insurance requires one. Sandra was my surgery coordinator and she was very nice but seemed very busy all of the time and didn't always have time to return my emails. Dr. Castro's office really emphasises aftercare with a Nutrionist providing her email and they make sure you don't leave the hospital without your post op instructions and notebook. They insist that you are seen at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, then 1 year. After that every 6 months. Their motto is that Dr. Castro is your doctor for life. "
