My name is Vicki.  I am 42 years old (today) and currently weigh way too much, 348 lbs.  I have been fighting this weight gain/loss battle since I was an adelescent and obviously have not succeeded very well.  I have a wonderful husband of 14 years that is amazing.  I have 2 beautiful daughters.  They al deserve a happy healthy wife and mom and they don't have that.  So, over christmas, I did a lot of soul searching and decided it was time to do something about it.  I have found a doctor I absolutely love and have scheduled my gastric bypass surgery for February 21, 2007.  I am so excited and yet have so many fears and questions to overcome.
