Trisha, thank you for the post and best wishes. I am doing pretty good. I got to have my surgury on March 17th instead of 24th. Went to doctor yesterday for my 2 week checkup, he said I was doing great. My incisions look great and I had lost 17 lbs. Pretty good for 2 weeks. I was a little dehydrated and he told me to really work on getting my fluids in. Thats really the hardest for me. Well again thank you and holler at me and hope you are doing great. Becky

I visited Trisha in the hospital -- I got to see her just as she got into her room. She looks great -- she was still groggy, but doing good -- she was really thirsty and dry -- we all know how that is after surgery, huh?! Surgery was successful. Doctor was able to complete it via laproscopically. They were planning on having her walk within 4 hours. I think the nurse said they will check for leaks tomorrow, so until then, it's just ice chips. And St. Luke's appeared to be a very nice hospital! Nice in appearance inside and out. Her mom & sister are both there and the nurse was very nice and fast to assist. Trisha is in good hands!!! Thanks to all of you who wish who prayed for her and sent warm wishes. It means a lot to Trisha!

Trisha called me from the hospital about 2 hours before she was going in. She's very excited and SO AM I!!! If everything is on schedule, she should be going under anesthesia within the next 15-30 minutes! YOU GO GIRL!!!

Trisha, Your big day is finally here! After all the delays you stayed tough and positive and now it will all pay off.
