I had my surgery on 11-14-06 and everything went fantastic. No complications what so ever. The first weeks were a little rough. I hate protein shakes. Now that I am 2 months out and down 42 pounds I am doing so much better. I feel wonderful. I finally got my energy back. I can now eat enough food that I only have to drink one shake a day. I have started to exercise by doing a walking video and weight training. Seems like my weight loss has stalled a little over the last few weeks, but I can tell I have lost inches. I've not had any problems craving food except for salad. I really want a salad bad, but I'm on pureed foods for another month. I was a coke-aholic before surgery and I've not missed them at all. I did take a sip of my husbands one day and spit it out. It didn't taste nothing like it used to. I got the hang of drinking my 64 ounces of water and now I can't wait until it's time to drink. I get so thirsty. I would recommend this surgery to anybody. It's the best money I've ever spent.
