We moved here from Elko, Nevada in August 2001.  Tony works for Frito Lay and I am a Notary Public/Loan Signing Agent.  When people purchase or refinance their homes, I am contracted to d/l and print two copies of those packages (120+page documents) and then I go to the borrower's home or any place they want and witness the signing of the papers and notarize the documents that require notarizations.  I travel from Winchester, Manchester, Tullahoma, Shelbyville, Bell Buckle to Lawrence County, Pulaski area to Cornersville/Lewisburg Culleoka to Ardmore and Park City and Alabama state line and all points in between.
We are in our middle 50's.  I have a background in law enforcement that stems back 27 years and includes Undercover Investigations to the last 8 years of my career as a Correctional Officer at a 1500 bed Medium Security Men's prison in Eastern Washington outside of Spokane.  I withdrew my retirement and left the profession after my daughter became a crime victim.  I could not longer leave my personal life outside the razor wire fence.  I have always been a big person of 200 + pounds anyway but I purposely put on 200 pounds so I would never put a uniform on again.  For 5 years my Superintendent and my Capt and Lt and two Sgts.  would call and ask me if I was ready to come back yet.  You see, an officer can remain on the re-hire list for 5 years and not have to go back to the Academy.  I loved my job and I guess I was pretty good at it.  But the circumstances were such that I just couldn't do it anymore.  In those last 5 years I watched my daughter, mother of 2 slowly succumb to the HIV/Aids virus and finally we lost her in 1999..
I moved from Washington state to Elko, Nevada and went back to college to get my Criminal Justice Degree and discovered the computer.  And I have spent 7 years making my living on the computer (16-18 hours a day sitting at one!!) and needless to say, if the article ya'll are talking about referring to addiction applies to me, the addiction I need replacing is my computer!!!

So anyway, our grandchildren wanted Gamma and Granpa here so we moved from the west to beautiful Tennessee.  And we love our new home.
It has been a rough 7 years but now it is time for me to lose this weight and be able to enjoy Tony's and my passion which is NASCAR.  In April we bought a 1985......32 foot motorhome and we hope to be able to travel to some races but first I must get this weight off so that I can do the walking to our seats at the tracks.  Bristol is my favorite race but the track access is WAY too much for me to be able to maneuver.  All up hill and LONG walks from any parking area. I have been to one CUP race and that was two years ago at Charlotte and the walk from the parking area to our seats was over a mile one way and I almost didn't make it.
Gosh I hope this isn't too long.  But there ya have it.  A little about me.
