"I had Bypass with Dr Abkin and am still an active patient with his practice. It is disheartening when i see a negative post such as the one posted yesterday. I have had nothing but good response from the office and the doctors. I have heard from patients in the past that had issues when they DID NOT FOLLOW our RULES and would go to a hospital that our Doctor's don't go to. If that the case
then shame on the patient for NOT following our Practice Rules.

"As we near the end of 2013 I felt I need to make a shout out to my Favorite Surgeon, Dr Alexander Abkin. On Dec 7th was my 9th Anniversary of my Gastric Bypass with Dr Abkin. 9 years later and Dr Abkin is still very much a part of my life. This year Dr Abkin and I began an ONLINE Support Group for his patients that can't find the time to come to the office for our monthly support groups. Dr Abkin's program is very proactive. He and his staff are there for the patients Before, During and After the surgery. The In office support and the Facegroup Support allows his patients to keep in touch with other patients of the practice and with the office for any needs they may have.
I'd like to Thank Dr Abkin again for all he has done for me personally. In addition, for being there for the patients. We look forward to our visits from Dr Abkin and Dr Botvinov when they stop by our monthly meetings! Dr Abkin truly cares about his patients and loves to keep up with their progress. "I had Gastric Bypass over four years ago and was successful in my weight loss, but unhappy with my excess skin. Our support Group had brought in a few plastic surgeons but the Night that Dr. Fodero came I knew he was the one for the job.
He seemed to be very knowledgeable about people who had weight loss surgery and how to deal with their excess skin. He was very open with what could be done and answered any question that we had. He seemed to really care about us and our concerns.
His office & Nursing staff are great. They made my visits to the office pleasant and were always very helpful.
I've had several procedures with Dr. Fodero and he is awesome. He is a very caring person and will always be there for his patients. I had to have an unexpected surgery (complication from the bypass) a few days after my other procedure. Even though I wasn't there due to his Surgery... Dr. Fodero still came to check on me and make sure things were going fine.
I would recommend Dr. Fodero to anyone that needed some type of plastic surgery! He is a very skilled surgeon and a truly good person."
