Hello Margaret: I just read your posting of your life changing experience. Girl just keep on keeping on. God will continue to see you through as he has done fron the beginning. Don't let things or people discourage you. When you feel you can't hold on any longer...just tie a big knot at the end of that rope and keep holding on. I will keep you in my prayers that you continue on your road to not only weight loss success but happiness emotionally and spiritually. Please feel free to email me any time. God Bless Fawn

Margaret, 43 lbs. in 2 months in a wonderful loss! Don't compare yourself to others, and ask yourself, when was the last time you were able to lose 43 lbs. in 2 months? It's so easy, especially after putting your body through the trauma of surgery, to get depressed early on, but be reasonable, Margaret, you are doing terrific! Try to increase your walking, and make sure you are eating enough protein (at least 50 grams a day), these two things, along with drinking at least 64 ounces of WATER a day, will kick start your metabolism. Some of us will lose a little bit slower than others, but ultimately, the weight will come off, be patient and think about all you've accomplished so far.

Margaret, Hi I live in Tennessee Colony, Tx. I had lap RNY in Palestine almost a 1 1/2 years ago. My Mom is from Carroll Springs and I had/have a sister n law from Poyner. I know I have heard your name before. We have friends in LaPoynor School so I'm sure I have heard your name from them. I am glad your surgery went well. It is better once you get home and can walk where ya want to instead of circles in the hospitals. I am at goal. I have lost 124lbs and am trying to maintain at this time. I fell really good. I still have check ups with blood work but have been off meds for over a year now. We just keep tabs on the protein. Just wanted to say hello, and glad your doing well. If ya need a ear I don't mind listening. Lana
